My baby has just turned 6 months so I have tried to swap his dummy from the newborn to 6+months (same brand), but he won't take it. The teat is a fair bit bigger, is this something I should keep trying? Does it matter I he still has he newborn one?

My baby boy is 6.5 months and no where near sitting him he just arches his back to throw himself backwards what age did your babies start sitting up? Just not sure how long I should leave it till I take him to a doctor. He was born at 36 weeks so not sure if I should take that into account aswell?
