I am booked in to have brain surgery in February. I have a 6 week period where I cannot lift my 9 month old. My husband had an injury last year and has just started a new job TAFE teaching casually. He has to be available to take classes or someone else will get them for the year. I have a couple of days a week I have no one to help me look after bub if hubby gets called in to work. Does anyone know of any services that can come to your home to help with your baby post surgery? I'm in regional nsw. Thanks.

Have you thought about an au pair? Or talking to the hospital and centrelink to ask for services you can use?
Best of luck
