Hi everybody. I have a 12 year old son who is very tech savvy and focussed and while he is quite social, his socialisation tends to happen more in online forums (these are children from his school or his neighbourhood that he knows, not just randoms from the inter-web). Where our other children go...

TW - mass shooting (US) I'm writing to put a voice to the words in my head. Tonight my partner and I finally talked about the recent shooting. I'm a mother of two, 1yo & 3yo. Living in Aus, so far from this event. I heard it first on the radio and sat in the car crying and grieving. Tonight I...

This will be vague because I don’t want anyone figuring out it’s me from the details. I have multiple children and met a complete Toxic red flag who was painted over but that paints come off now. It came off after he made me make late payments and get breached on my rental, it was just in my name...

What do people do to have fun? I mean real, laugh out loud fun! Before kids I was such a chilled, easy going person and loved nothing more than going out with friends, movies, dinner, anything that was fun! Fast forward 10 years and I feel like life is groundhog day... I'm not interested in going...

Wanting to take my son to a therapist (adhd, odd and possible autism). Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist? Which is going to benefit him more to help him with melt downs and build friendships at school?

Has anyone used their super to pay for dentist work? Recently had a quote for crowns and veneers, my teeth are very worn down and this will help them from further damage. Quote was around $8k, can I use my super? I have always had issues with my teeth and it really plays with my mental and physical...

My 4yr old boy has knocked knees from natural growth. We are awaiting an appointment with a specialist later in the year. I wanted to hear from anyone that has been through or is going through this as to what the procedure has been for you regarding treatment please.

I've recently recovered from covid and I haven't had my period since. After a few pregnancy tests, thankfully I'm negative. Being in my early 40's I'm done having babies and definitely not early menopause as I have no other symptoms. Has anyone else had their menstrual cycle affected by covid?

Has anyone experienced changes to their period since having COVID? I asked my Dr but he fobbed it off and said changes were "more likely because of my age" suggesting I may be peri menopausal. I am 45 and my periods have always been pretty clockwork.
