just wanting to get other mums opinions and thoughts on having a child in the birthing suite during labour? what age do you think is appropriate if you think is appropraite at all?

Hi IM's. We've just moved to Brisbane from Adelaide Fort my husbands job and don't know single soul! We're living in Kenmore and I have a 4yo DS, a 2yo DD and a 9wk old DD. Are there any other mums in the area that would like to catch up for a coffee / playdate? Or arts there any playgroups etc...

Just wondering if anyone else has been through this? My 16 month old ds has a swollen left testicle. Got an ultrasound and got told that the channel that the testicle travelled down hasn't closed off properly.. Seeing our GP today but pretty worried :(

How did you and your partner decide on baby's name. We are expecting our first baby (a girl) in May. At this stage we both have a name each picked out but neither of us is willing to compromise.
