I am a bit desperate.
My wisdom teeth have been bugging me for years, and being a single mum I've never been able to afford to get them taken out, so I've basically been using Panadol or nurofen to take the pain away, usually unsuccessfully.
I'm at a point now where the pain is so immense and nothing helps, my stomach hurts from trying to ease the pain with painkillers and I feel sick, with the jarring pain in both my top and bottom jaw, sometimes I feel like giving up and ending it completely. If I didn't have my daughter I wouldn't be here anymore, it's gotten that bad.
I used to have dental cover but after moving, every last cent is spoken for and that was no longer in the budget, my daughter gets free dental work so she's covered when it comes to that. What are some other options?
I'm so tired, I'm in such pain, I feel sick, I'm sick of crying myself to sleep, I'm tired of being grumpy because I'm in pain all the time, I just need help, and any ideas are welcomed. Thanks so much xo

Talk to your GP. Are you on the wait list for your teeth?? Some dentists have payment plans. Also look at NILS (no interest loans) in your area. Or a centrelink loan/advance.
It is time to prioritise this pronto and personally I'd start selling anything you've got that's not a necessity to get it done. Your health comes first, without it your daughter is loosing out.
I'd sell my bed, my sofa, whatever you can, those things can be replaced later!!!
I agree. Sell something/things to pay for it. Second TV? Old DVDs? Kid's toys? Spare beds that you don't use? I recently had a garage sale and made $300. You'll need anywhere from $120-$250 per tooth removed, depending on if it's straight forward or not. So I'd say max 1K. But ring around and find the cheapest. Is there anyone in your life that you could borrow 1K from and pay them back at, say $50 a week installments? There are dentists that offer payment plans on an interest free credit card, too. GE for example. Google your area for interest free credit dentists. Good luck.
If you do a Google find your local public dental service they will usually do such procedures for $30 or free for those in intense pain. Its free if you let the students have a go. The are supervised it is how I had my third removed.
If you are a single parent, don't you have a pension card which then entitles you to free dental? Find out the phone number of the public dentist in your area (usually at your local public hospital) there will be an 'emergency' number you can call them & they will get you in asap. Don't keep living with this pain - dental abscess' can kill
Some dentists do have payment plans I would call around your area and see. It's more than likely the top or the bottom as the pain is normally referred unfortunately there really isn't anything else you can do. You could see your gp and get some antibiotics but this is a short term fix to help get you out of trouble. Best thing is extraction. Good luck x

If you have a health care card and Medicare card it's free. Google public dental in your state and call the number to go on the list. it's easy and free. I can't believe I've left it this long before I looked into it!
Are you eligible for free dental treatment with the government? If not call around as many private dental practices will have payment plans. The practice I work at has no interest payment plans. Otherwise could you apply for a credit card & pay it off that way?
Im in brisbane went to the hospital at 5 in the morning at the emergency dental rooms had an xray got mine pulled. I had a health care card at the time. I sat around for 4 hours but it was worth it as my wisdom tooth was actually infected. It was also free.
