new partner has had testicular cancer as a youngin , nothing removed but radiation and kemo..
He had a check and his sperm is dead..
doc said it could come back in 5-10 yrs.. or possibly sooner who knows

I know someone who had cancer and he had sperm frozen before receiving treatment, their children were conceived using IVF......years later they got a surprise pregnancy! Turns out his sperm came back. I have pcos and conceived using clomid....maybe consider doner sperm?

my partner refuses to adppt or use a doner.. he wants his own ..i know that sounds kinda rude.

Until his sperm comes back (if it comes back) it's a waiting game. There is nothing you can do to change his sperm or hurry it along.
I'd enjoy the ride (so to speak) but not actively try. Think about getting him tested every 12 months and if there is live sperm discuss what you can do to increase chances.
I'd also retable the idea of adoption, sperm donors in another 12 months. He may feel differently.
make sure you both have other goals you are working on together that don't involve babies as you want to keep your relationship strong no matter what happens

I can completely understand your partner wanting to have his own bio baby. Perhaps you could try a fertility dr, maybe they could use his sperm and your eggs and fertilise them in a lab and then inject them into your uterus. That way it's garrenteed to get a fertilised egg. But I don't know the finer details hints why I suggested a fertility dr

If his sperm is dead that isn't possible. He has to have live sperm first

I would look at natural ways to help his sperm issue. Acupuncture and herbal medication could be really beneficial.

I too have PCOS and endometriosis first 3 pregnancies were clomid babies (only 1 pregnancy survived) and currently pregnant with natural surprise baby! Definitely ask for clomid! Get his sperm tested every 6 months and keep you mind off babies and try reach a new goal in the mean time. Best of luck
