Hi ladies,
I'm due soon with my first baby, during the pregnancy my partner and I have seperated (never married or listed as defacto), he's since moved in with his cousin. Ive sorted out my Centrelink stuff, or at least as much of it as I can before Bub gets here. Thing is, even though my ex isn't on my lease or listed on any of my bills, (we don't have joint bank accounts or anything), his mail still gets sent here! His bank statements, and rego, toll notices etc. just a bit of mail, not a lot. I've told him to change his address over but honestly it's hard enough getting him to respond to a text or take my calls, and he's always been more than hopeless at doing this sort of stuff. e.g. Took him 12 months to update his address when he 'did' live with me! SO will this get me into trouble with Centrelink? I'm just super paranoid!!! I'm freaking out about getting by financially once I stop work and bub is here and I absolutely cannot risk my payments being stopped or cut because of something so stupid!!

No it won't get you in trouble. They won't even notice. It takes some people ages to sort that stuff out
if it really bothers you give your ex a set date to get it done and if he doesn't do it you can pay the post office to stop his mail coming to you
Nope! Won't get you into trouble lol tell him to sort it out or else just call up the places he's getting mail and say he no longer resides at this address and you don't know where he lives or give them their address
A family member of mine works for centrelink, I asked them and they said definitely not. Anyone can have their mail forwarded to any address for many different reasons :-)
If it is worrying you. Write return to sender (no longer at this address) on all his mail and pop in your closest mailbox .....they will stop the mail and then they will have to contact him for a new address.
Return to sender :-) I would.
He'll get the hint.
Can't see it getting you into trouble but if your worried send it back so its not at your house.
