My almost 12 week old has started fussing when he feeds (ebf) he will feed for a little bit then refuse to latch on and throw himself back and cry. I can eventually get him back on but he just gets more upset so I give him his dummy and he falls asleep if I rock him. I'm not sure what this could be caused by?

Could he be over tired? Or over stimulated maybe? Have you tried feeding him in a dark quiet room to see if that helps? Wonder week? Growth spurt?
I had a similar thing happen with my daughter at the same age! Although, she would only refuse on breast and was fine with the other. From memory it only lasted a few days or so and I'm not sure what it was but I was so glad it only last a little while! Hopefully it's just a stage.
Hi, my baby did the same. She ended up with bad reflux. Check with the doc. She fussed while feeding and in the end didn't want to lay back at all. She also screamed for hours in the afternoons. We now have meds that is a godsend.
