What do you think of the name Patience?

What do you think of the name Patience for a baby girl?

We really love the name, but are a bit worried that she might cop too many "Patience please be patient" jokes.

What do you think, I really need help on this one, it is such a tough decision :)

Its so hard naming a person hey!!! Im not really into the name, but you'll never find a name that every single person loves! Go with what you guys love, its your choice!

Noone loved my sons name when I said it in passing to them.
A wise lady at work told me not everyone will be happy with the name you choose, but as long as you are, everyone will get used to it in time. My dad hated my sons name and actually said DO NOT CALL HIM THAT. I did anyway. Couldn't imagine him with any other name.

I like the name! Not sure on the joke side though. It's something to consider, but people come up with jokes for everything. My daughter is Grace, now you wouldn't think you can do much with that? She was given Gracie Gracie with a pretty Facie by one of the aids at the school. Which then got played with by kids into things less kind.
So I guess if you like the name, go with it. Nothing screams out at me to be am obvious tease about the name. So if you love it, go for it.

I personally am not a fan of the name. I also think if you can come up with a joke for it then kids can be cruel and will most certainly come up with the jokes for the name. Its up to if you want to have to deal with your child being picked on about it .. that said most kids can get picked on even if they have a very common name kids will find something. At the end of the day you have to be happy with it.

i like the name, everyone told me that my daughter (destini) would cop "you are my destiny" or will you be my destiny.. and hey i started somthing because its a bit more common now, she is 13 and yes she does get them jokes but she loves her name and that its different and she laughs it off :)
