I'm in need of some help.
I have been with my partner for 8.5yrs and married for 7months.
I have been steadily puttin on weight since our wedding. 1kg a month it would seem. So what I'm asking for is motivation. What works for you to shift your weight. The gym is not for me at the moment as we recently moved house and still trying to find our feet.
My husband works away and so it's mostly just me and our 3boys at home. I'm feeling really yuck and can't stand the scales or mirror at the moment.
I know he loves me no matter what size I am. It's more about me not loving me.

Work on your food first. You Can lose weight just by cutting calories. Record what's going in each day for a couple of weeks using Calorie king or My Fitness Pal, then cut 15% off that daily intake and make that your calorie goal to stick to (for instance if you were eating 2300 calories per day you'd cut 345 calories off to eat 1945 cals per day). That should start the ball rolling. Don't worry too much about what food it is to start with, but start slowly adding more veggies and fruit, drinking more water etc. If you stop losing weight then cut the calorie allowance by 10% and it should kick start things again :)
I am really struggling with my weight too and I have just joined Weight Watchers, the online option is a bit more affordable and easier to do with kids. There is an app too you can download which helps you track your food. I have stacked piles of weight on recently and it is really affecting my self esteem, so I have decided to do something about it! I am just focusing on what I am eating and doing some exercise and then will build on the exercise. Its so hard with small children to care and run around after, but I think its important as Mums we don't forget about us and we look after our health aswell!! My motivation to start was when I jumpled on scales and realised how much I weighed!! All the best!
Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation is awesome, it deals with mindset which is where all other "diets" fall down. Get your mindset right and everything else will fall in place xx If you cannot workout a bad meal and one clean meal won't make you thin or lose weight. It's all about consistency. I have lost 18kg since October. I did one round of MB12WBT and lost 9.5 then the rest has come off just with eating clean and exercise. If you are wanting to workout from home there are lots of options, look at YouTube, Jessica Smith TV for example. Then there are more intense programs out there like Focus T25. But it's 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. Get the crap food out of your house, portion control, calorie count/restrict to 1200 per day. You can do this! Goodluck :-D
