Hey Mummas.
I have an almost 1 year old little girl who has been formula fed pretty much from the start. I am now looking at weaning her off her 3 bottles a day.
Preferably I would like to not give the milk, 3 bottles a day, like I do her formula as I feel this is un-necessary.
My problem is, that she flat out refuses other fluids in a bulk amount, it's only ever a few sips a day, enough to notice it's not her formula and then she chucks it and crawls away.
I have been trying with water since she was 6 months old, as obviously that's what I would prefer he to drink.
I have tried almost every type of sippy cup, (so much so that I don't ever want to see another sippy cup again), I've tried straws, I've tried a normal cup, I've tried her bottle (get the best success from this but it's still not much at all.) I've tried adding different flavours (strawberry, orange, apple) I've tried heavily watered down Apple juice and cows milk. I've tried adding ice to her bottles, and cold and room temp bottles.
I feel like I've got nothing else to try and I'm not sure how to go about it from here. I have an appointment with the health nurse, but not for over a month.
Any suggestions/advice/personal experiences would be extremely appreciated
Thanks in advanced
