I'm pregnant with baby no.3 and was thinking of using modern cloth nappies part-time. Wondering if other mothers have had good experiences with this or was it simpler just to stick to using disposable?
Thinking of money saving and waste saving ideas. Can any
One suggest anything?

Yes i really recommend them. Its not harder, its lots more fun & cuter, you never run out & have to run to shops, it saves a bundle ( but be warned you can also spend a bundle on the really cute ones). You might still want to use disposables sometimes, at nights, big days out or or long trips etc some people use mcns all the time, its up to you. Definitely give them a go. Get yourself a big bucket for in the laundry & lots of pegs to hang them & its easy. They air dry really quickly too by the way.
Definitely love my modern cloth nappies! I worked out that I will save about $9,500 across two bubbas (only have one so far but for next one). They're easy to us and dry within about a day. I'd recommend doing a bit of research and finding the right one for you as there are heaps of options available. In the end we went with the softbums two in one echo which means the outer shell can be used like 4 or 5 times and all you do is replace the pad inside. Also I love the leg adjustments which I haven't seen on any other nappies!
I loved them. I started using them when my eldest turned one which was right before #2 came along. We saved so much money using them but I should mention that you can be tempted with some very cute designs and spend more than intended! I found them easy to wash and care for. I did end up buying pants a size larger than normal as the size of MCN's is larger than disposables. It's been a few years now since I used them but my favourite brand was Greenkids. They're still around.
They are well worth the cost, they are great. I used disposable at night and when out but great for at home.. I would recc. trying a few different brands before you buy a whole lot, some fit my girls much better than others, they had really chubby legs ... Also Velcro fastening get clogged up with lint and are quite noisy in the middle of the night, also both girls learned to pull those off much faster than the push button ones.. If you can buy used ones it would be even cheaper.. mine outlasted two kids. Also, soak once a week in hot water with cup of vinegar/ lavender drops to make smell really fresh....
I recommend using them! Tho you need to do your research they can look all pretty and sweet but are not functional or take a long time to dry! I highly recommend close modern cloth nappies I used the pop ins for toilet training on my older chikd while using them as nappies for my new born right through to toilet training! They have loads of beautiful products.
