VBAC Advice & Experiences

I had an emergency c-section with first bub due to being induced & having a few complications occurr after that. My first bub born at 41+1 weeks ended up pretty big at 9lb 3oz (approx 4.22kg). That was nearly 3 yrs ago & I am currently 36.5 weeks pregnant with bub no. 2. I have been given the ok to try a VBAC. I am very excited & also very nervous. Just wanting to hear from other mums who have had successful or unsuccessful VBAC's after having a big first baby. Any tips & advice on what to expect would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you

My first was an emergency section, second was attempted VBAC, my prob was i like to move around during labour and bcos of the previous section I ended up being hooked up to monitors. As my labour continued I experienced a lot of pain along my scare and ended up it was tearing open from the inside so was sent for another emergency section. 3 rd baby was an elective section and it was extremely good I believe my recovery was a lot faster because I wasn't stressed ect

My first was an undiagnosed breach (she never even came down into the birth canal and was 10cm for ages with the midwives not realising).
the second baby was a VBAC and although the first few weeks were better as far as recovery went, 10 months down the road I am having x rays and specialist appointments because of a possible crushed nerve/ inflamation and or fracture of the pubic bone. If I was to do it again, it would be an elective c section for sure. I also had an episiotomy witch took just as long to heal as the major surgery.
no tips really other than, give a VBAC a go. for me it was worse but I've heard great experiences from the majority of people. :)
