I wrote in a little while ago about finding out we are pregnant with #5 and how my family is unsupportive. Well, we told them and it went a lot better than expected! They weren't thrilled but accepted it, and didn't carry on like they have previously. They said of course they will worry about us with the financial side of things but they have no doubt we will make it work just like we always do, and they know we will continue to be loving capable parents as always. Dh has no family so my family is all we have.
Not telling them wasn't an option- we live in the same fairly small town and see each other at least once a week (usually more).
