UPDATE TO: Help! I have NO confidence!

Hello I.Ms
last week I wrote in about my lack of confidence and how its effecting me in every day life.
I just want to say after reading through your responses, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Your beautiful kind words, understanding and sharing your own stories has given me some hope that I can get through this. That this isn't who I am, and this can get better. I have booked an appointment for a doctor. I think its a good step. :)

To the women who bravely told me their personal stories with their lack of confidence and social anxiety, you reminded me that I am not alone! I am not the only mother struggling to make friends. I am not the only kinder mum wondering why no one wants to talk to me and I'm not the only one silently freaking out about starting conversations. So today I tried out your suggestions. Remembering I am not the ONLY one I tried so hard to be bold. I spoke, I made eye contact, I said hello to everyone, I smiled and I stumbled on my words and I laughed at myself and tried to rip my personality out from behind that suffocating cloud. AND GUESS WHAT?! People smiled back, people spoke to me and I even arranged a PLAYDATE! I felt this little bit of light flicker on and when I started to get nervous I thought about all your words and it helped! This page is brilliant. You are all wonderful and I owe this good day to you amazing I.Ms!

Again, THANK YOU xxxx

From someone with LITTLE confidence... but working on it :)
