Hi ladies,
My husband and I found out last week that we are expecting twins! A massive surprise as they don't run in either family.
Now the initial shock of it has sank in we are very excited and I would like to ask other mums of twins for practical strategies I can use. We also have a son who will be 2 when the twins are born so I want to make sure he keeps his important place in the family. Any advice on this also welcome!

I'm a twin mum, I'd suggest joining the australian multiple birth page on facebook and also the australian multiple birth association online forum. There might even be a local multiple birth group near you, best of luck
I'm a twin mum. If anyone offers help accept accept!! Try and nap during the day (depending on your sons schedule). If your son is at daycare now, then keep in him in when the babies are born as it will help you have time with just them. Don't buy two of anything as you might find that they don't necessarily want the same thing at the same time. Stock up on nappies, at the beginning we were using more than 20 a day. And definitely don't worry about the house work!!
