I have been trying to conceive since December 2013 however I am finding that I am now constantly getting a UTI after having sex.
I was with my ex for a decade and he was my first and I never had this issue with him. The only difference was we use to use the 'pull out' method as we didn't want kids.
Since being with my current partner I constantly get them. I have been to the doctors and they have run tests and I have no bugs in my bladder or anywhere it's all clean.
My issue is that I'm starting to lose motivation to try. The doctor told me it could be a hygiene thing, but even after a thorough shower with special lady part soaps and special male part soaps I still keep getting them.
I am on cranberry tablets every day and have cranberry juice daily too. Does anyone else get this? Has anyone else experienced this, how did you overcome it? I'm really finding it hard to get in the mood when we need to be interrupted by a shower first instead of being able to do it spontaneously wherever and whenever. I know foreplay in the shower can be fun too, but it's become a routine and now lost its appeal. It is taking the fun out of sex and TTC I'm ready to give up.... Help

If there are no bugs it could be interstitial cystitis. I get a UTI every single time I have sex no matter how hygienic. Agony. The only things that work are using hand sanitiser, having a shower before sex, weeing straight after and also taking keflex straight after. I would get a referral to urologist.
Have you tried different sexual positions? Definitely make sure you wee straight afterwards!
Yep wee straight after and I use fem freshwipes after as well. I had the same issue and now all good :)
has your partner been tested? he may have something that keeps getting passed on to you.
