Any tips on getting my two-year-old to sit through a haircut without screaming?

Have you tried sitting him on your lap? That's the only way I can get my little one to sit. I've also been to a few hairdressers who put a kids cartoon on to watch too...

If u live in perth try quick cuts, theirs a few around the place they have a tv infront of each chair and a kids movie on keeps my little boy still, hey are also very fast so kids don't get too upset

I take my 2yr olds favorite teddy Rara with him and he gets to hold Rara's hand while he gets his hair cut then Rara holds mr2's hand. Works for us just need a nice hairdresser to play along.

I used to bribe my youngest (now 4) with lolly pops and I used to get his older brother to go first and my youngest would watch. For a while I had to stand next to him and hold his hand the whole time too. Somewhere between two and three he stopped being scared and now climbs into the chair and chats to the barber the whole time. The only thing he gets scared of now is the hair dryer, so I ask them not to use it on him.

My daughter doesn't like strangers so she sat on my lap for her haircut and I gave her a lollypop and talked to her to distract her.
