TMI - Really weird bleeding - Pregnant or Miscarriage??

TMI - just a warning!!!
I have been getting the depo injection for over 8 years. Bit of background info - usually the day I'm due for my depo I will have a really heavy bleeding day ( like my body is telling me it's time for my injection) then I will go off and get the injection. I recently went in a holiday and two days before we left (end of June) I had a very light bleed and only for one day and I was still 3 weeks of being due for the injection. I put it down to stress about the holiday etc. When we got back I felt really weird like I was pregnant- boobs were sore etc. the date came that I knew I was due for the depo but I just couldn't shake the feeling I was pregnant (and I didn't get my usual bleeding like normal ) I bought a pregnancy test and it was negative ( this also happened when I was pregnant with my first child and even a doctor prescribed me the pill ( which I didn't take because I just knew I was). I waited a week (still no bleeding ) took another test and it was negative. My husband and I have talked and agree that we will try for just one more child. On the 15th and 16th I woke up to a big clot of blood ( only in the morning both days nothing else through out the day) on the 17th I would have what I consider a very light period (all day) and the 18th spotting. Now when I go to the toilet and I wipe there is a very small smear of pinky mucus stuff (not as dark as period blood but similar) after googling I'm really confused. Similar experiences in others say I have miscarried and others say it could be implantation bleeding. I bought a ovuplan kit as I don't even know if I'm ovulating - yesterday was a partial fern and today nothing. Has anyone else had this? Can a doctor tell if I have miscarried? Please help!!! I haven't even told my husband- I just don't know how

I think any advice anyone can give you on line is probably going to be dodgy! Go to your GP.

PS start communicating with your partner about what is going on with your body. Even if you don't know what's going on it's ok to say I've had funky bleeding and don't know why. If your planning on having a baby together you need to get him comfortable with this stuff. He is going to be in a room with you while you push a baby out, it will involve slime, blood and general grossness! If you can't talk about it how are you going to do that in front of him!

That isn't why I haven't told him - he has seen me horrendously deliver 1 baby ( with a major surgery afterwards ) and been with me for 2 c sections. I'm scared if I tell him he will change his mind about trying. I am a very emotional person and he knows that things affect me deeply- I know he would do anything to make me not feel sad.
