Hi, I'm a FTM to a 2 year old. He has been getting his 2nd molars during these heats waves we have been getting, and night time is very difficult due to the heat. I am finding that I can't hold him and comfort him when he is in discomfort as the heat is just too much and we don't have air con, just fans which aren't helping, and he is getting heavy.
What I am finding I have to now do is bring him back to bed and try and comfort him lying down, but he doesn't like it and will get very upset and cry. I get so upset seeing him like this, but if I hold him we both just heat up so quickly. I just want to know if any mums have any ideas that might help. Or any mums that have been in this situation and had to do the same thing, I really hope I'm not alone. Thanks
