Hi mums! Just wondering if any of you have had to get a sty removed? I'm booked in on thursday to get it removed/drained and I'm really scared. Has anyone else been in this situation? Any words of wisdom/ support?

If U get real yellow gold like a ring and rub it on the sti 3 times a day the gold will make it disappear. It's an old wives tail that actually works
My son use to continually get sty's he got one that severe on the top of his eyelid that didn't get a head so couldn't release closed his whole eye! They lanced it he being 4 at the time was beside himself but afterwards he said mummy it doesn't hurt anymore so I think you will feel more of a relief afterwards maybe don't think too much about the whole process just how relieved you'll feel afterwards good luck :) meditate while they do it your minds an amazing thing :)
I had two removed from my left eye about 10 years ago now. The most "painful" part was when the numbing started to wear off and my eyelashes felt like they were digging into my skin lol, not overly painful but a very strange feeling. It's a very simple procedure and you will be completely fine! Just make sure you follow the after care instructions correctly and leave the eye pad on until the recommended time so it doesn't get infected. Good luck, calm down and relax xx
