Hi a little bit of background info I am a mother to a beautiful 3 year old boy I work full time 9 hours a day with an hours travel time each way. My partner also works full time and we just built our first home. I have been thinking lately I want to study rn nursing at UNI via correspondence my only issue is the course is full time. I was just wonder have any other mums juggle a full time job with full time study and a young child and if so how did u do it? Leaving my job is not an option as with out we can not afford or morgage is this possible or am I taking on to much?

Something like nursing is very difficult to do while working full time as you have to do work experience and it's not something that can be studied via distance education. Talk to your local uni about there specific requirements etc. if you were to study something that wasn't in the medical field it lowers the number of contact hours and increases flexibility

You can't study nursing by correspondence but you can do it part time. So instead of 4 days a week it may be 1-2. You would be best to chat to the uni your interested in and get more information. And no if it's what you really want to do you will find a way to make it work.
