Studing and being a Mum - finding the balance

Hello Fellow Sisters.
I have decided to bite the bullet and sign up to study next year. The problem is I'm finding just doing some basic online tests at the moment, my 2.5yr old is becoming naughty/bored/a little horror. I realise she has had me to herself (her old siblings are in school and preschool). I try to use this time for her to play on the ipad, watch a movie, sit and draw next to me. We are aiming for 1-2hrs, 3 days a week.
How do other Mums/dads find the balance?? I can't just study at night as I have the older children to deal with too.
I have put off doing any further study, to try and be that hands on mum but after 7yrs. I really want it to be about me, even if its only a little.

Book her into daycare one day a week. Seriously she will LOVE it, kids to play with and so many activities. You will be able to study properly without distractions and find you have more time for her and it is much less frustrating.

You can't study with kids there, it's not fair on them you'll get frustrated and angry, and it's too hard for you. You need to really focus and concentrate as you've realized.

I have 1 childfree day a week. Between the hours of 9-2.30pm. On than day i study as much as possible!!! I do nothing else but study.
Im sure if you put the youngest into preschool one day a wk it would be a world of good for you both. :)
Unfortunately at 2 they want all your attention.
Goodluck mumma!
