Hi sisters!
Not sure if I'm after advice or just needing to vent.
So my husband is on good money. My kids 10, 7 and 6, are at full time school now and I have been on the hunt for a job for a few months now to no avail. I understand I have been out of work for a long stretch of time now but for the amount of jobs I have applied for, in getting no where. I had one job interview recently and I thought it went really well but I didn't get the job. I tried not to be bummed about it but I'm starting to feel really worthless.
There's so much pressure on stay at home mums to get back in to the workforce once their kids are at school but how can we when no one wants to give us a chance? It's so unfair.
I worked before kids but I had my oldest quite young and have been "just mum" ever since. I have no qualifications but nothing but time and an eagerness to work. Maybe I'm just asking if any other Mums have been in my shoes and has it gotten better?
We don't need the money but I'm itching to get a job.

Go do some study or get qualifications. It's the perfect time to set yourself up for the rest of your life. Do some work experience (yes it's not just for teenagers), and do some volunteer work. You are in a fantastic position to get yourself in a fantastic position to be employable!
Maybe buy a coffee truck ect... think outside the box, study, volunteer?
We have the opposite problem 3 out of 3 employees unfortunately do not like to show up for work. I feel for the people who want to work and these type of people are wasting everyones time.
My hubby couldnt find work so decided to work for himself. He would love to pay it foward.

I find the wording of this post really frustrating. There are so many jobs out there!
