Having #2 soon and realised I'll probably have to do even more baby carrying than last time as DD1 is not yet 2.5 but is just too big for the toddler seats on any tandem pram I can find (e.g. Strider, Navigator). So I'll need to carry #2 and have DD1 in the single pram if she is not in the mood for walking.
I have an ergo already but want to get a lightweight stretch wrap as well when I'm taking it just as a back-up. I'm about size 20 and live in QLD so it will be hot over summer when bub will be quite young. Any particular experiences with certain carriers? I'm thinking Moby...

I have just bought a moby and it's great, however my Little baby is much happier in a ring sling. she may grow into a wrap but not yet.anyway it's handy having both, and I do what you said, big one walks or in stroller, haven't had to use the double pram yet, thankfully!
A stretchy probably won't last you long, they're not much good after bub hits about 8 or 9kg. A woven wrap will last you longer and can made from so many different types of fabrics so finding one that's lightweight and easy to wrap with.
There's a baby wearing buy/sell/swap page on Facebook that you can join and ask questions on. I highly recommend talking to them or going to a sling meet if you can.
