I have a problem which i have never come across and don't have the slightest idea of how to fix it... My 3yr old son has started grinding his teeth and now my 1yr old daughter has started to copy him. I am really worried about the adverse effects this will have on there teeth and don't want it to become a habit. While i can tell my 3 yr old to stop it because it will wreck his teeth im at a loss as to how to stop my 1 yr old doing it... any suggestions

O my I just posted about this 3 questions back my one year old grinds too a reply did say it's normal to relieve stress in there growing jaw that made sense to me
My MIL used to grind her teeth and my husband does now mostly during his sleep. They both had to have their teeth grinded down alittle which stopped it straight away I would suggest taking them to the dentist to double check everything is ok with their teeth
My 6 year old son does this in his sleep, it's such a horrible grinding sound too that makes me cringe, It's hard to get him to stop cos he's asleep while doing it
