Hey there IMs, I really want some solid advice on strategies that have worked for you! I have a 2.5 year old girl who loves to squeal when she doesn't get her way. I'm not talking a normal squeal either, it's a piercing, high pitched, extremely loud squeal that makes you think she is being murdered!! It's not something new, she has done this since she was about 8 months old... She just seems to be getting worse ?
I have tried discipline, I have tried ignoring her, I have put her in her room, removed toys, sat down and talked, made her apologise to those around us, I've never given in to her requests when she does this but no matter what I do, there just seems to be no answer and she's getting worse!!
I guess one day she may be a great opera singer who can shatter glass, but right now, my ears can't take much more!!
PLEASE HELP?!?
