SPD (Symphysis Pubis disorder ) 33 weeks pregnant - repeat C-section or VBAC

Hi all

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and due to give birth late August. This will be my second baby and we are very excited. My first one was born via c-section due to him being in breech position. Back then I hated the idea of a c- section, however must say that I had a dream recovery and never really regretted that I didn't have a natural birth once I could hold my son in my arms. I also suffered from SPD in my first pregnancy.

There was a high chance that this baby will be breech position as well. So my OB booked in a c-section for 39 weeks gestation. As it turns out the baby has turned head down so I'm all clear to have a VBAC if that's what I want.
Before SPD got really bad I was 100% committed to have a natural birth because it's so much better for the baby. Unfortunately, my pelvis is hurting like crazy making it very difficult for me to walk, stand, or do much. I'm basically in pain whenever I walk and even panadeine only takes the edge off the pain. I had regular Physio, including wearing a belt and have been doing an exercise program including hydrotherapy. So this is as good as it gets.
Now I don't really see how I can go through hours of labour where I'm supposed to be active and walk around with this type of pain. I'm also worried that natural birth will do further damage to my pelvis and googling this issue brought conflicting advise. Certain birthing positions such as lying on your back are apparently out of question. This means I should not have an epidural. Same goes for stirrups etc. so it only takes one inconsiderate midwife and long term damage could be done. Should I just have another c-section. The pain of SPD basically disappeared immediately after my first c-section and the recovery wasn't that bad at all.
Have any of you had hands on experience with Vaginal birth and SPD or SPD and c-section. Have any of you who experienced long term pelvis issues after a vaginal birth and perhaps regretted not having a c-section instead. I should add that I have a private OB so I know who would do the c-section and I have absolute trust in her that she will do another awesome job. Thanks all in advance.

No experience with SPD or issues like that. I had perfect pelvic floor and two vaginal births have ruined it. Recovery was much faster pp but now despite kegals and routine exercise, my urine leaks sometime. So i would say, don't stress much if your doctor suggests you another c-section. Vaginal birth is not a breeze sometimes :)

No experience with c section but i have had SPD my last 3 babies and have had them naturally and drug free.
I was induced 1-2 weeks early as i could not cope any longer pain wise as i had other children to look after.

I have no issues now with it.

I can't answer the question for you but I'll put in my 2c
I had SPD and birthed a 5kg (11lb) baby vaginally on my back with an epidural (got it after labouring for 34hrs). I couldn't really be all that active because of my pelvis and it felt much better after delivery.
I am now seeing a chiropractor at 14m pp and my pelvis is still unstable and my pelvic floor isn't fantastic, but I play netball and my pelvis may be the same even if I had a csec.
