something to ponder...

this isn't a question, nor do I feel it's a rant...more just food for thought.

PLEASE choose your words wisely when both posting & commenting...words hurt & whatever is said can either impact positively or negatively depending on what words you use.
Posters, try to give a CLEAR picture of the situation so as to provide a better idea of what is happening & people aren't left to draw their own conclusions when commenting.
those COMMENTING, try to limit your comments to what the poster is asking & be sure to choose words wisely...sometimes those posting are in a fragile state & see this as a last resort- they are most probably looking for support & encouragement more than anything, if you can't offer either of those maybe keep your opinion to yourself.

the following is my opinion, a little food for thought...
FACT- marriage & relationships are hard, they require time & energy but above all else they require communication- I think communication is the key to a long & healthy relationship.
alot of questions asked here aren't ones that we are really equipped to answer or offer advice...they are often situations that should be between parties involved & no one else.

we all deserve a 2nd chance (except where D.V is involved)...if one of you comes clean about an affair, seek counselling- no doubt you will be shattered by the news & the trust you had will be gone but you can't just stop the love you shared.
it is no secret that men are wired differently to women. quite often they may not realise there is an issue, they may need you to spell out the problem to them in order to see it. keep the lines of communication open...try not to attack when bringing up a problem, don't place blame- just keep calm & share your thoughts so you can try & work things out.
I'm not saying that this will fix things & it isn't the solution in every situation but I do feel we are becoming a generation of "I wonder if the grass is greener" & we have lost our fight...if something isn't working then try to fix it before packing up & leaving.
