Hope you are all having a lovely day, just wanted to ask a question I am 21 weeks pregnant and 21 years of age First time mum. I have been looking at cots and I want one with a drop side as I am short myself and I want a cot that converts into a toddler bed but I have been told it is the Australian regulations that drop sides are not allowed??? Is this true?? Can anyone offer me opinions and advice on cots I am so confused!! Thank you!!

I wouldn't think they would sell them if it was against Australian regulations?
We had one for our son and I have again another one for this baby on the way. It also converts into a toddler bed. It was a great step between the cot and the single bed for my son. Will do the exact same thing for this baby on the way too.
I thought all cots had drop sides, never seen one without!
This is actually true! I think if you go into most baby shops now that supply cots they won't sell you one with a drop down side obviously you can buy a second hand one but the lady I bought my sleigh cot off told me about this too as this was in place when she was having her Bub I'm quite short and while the cot looks big it's perfect height for me. Good luck in finding the right one
