My daughters breathing is so shallow when she's in a deep sleep I've almost had a few heart attacks. Id say he's just in a very deep sleep as their breathing is very shallow when they go past REM. I bought a sensor pad which saved my sanity. It sets off an alarm if it doesn't detect breathing for a few seconds. Better safe than sorry! I got mine from target I think around the $130. It's not cheap but worth the money and at leastyou will get some piece of mind. Xx
