Hi mums!
I'm just wondering if there's any sleep schools in cairns, or if anyone has any other advice for me.
My 13 month old boy was a perfect sleeper up until he was 9-10 months. First it was teething, then being sick, then a holiday which was a 2 hour time difference (slept in a portacot but ended up in our bed) and ever since we've been back, he doesn't want to sleep in his cot. He sleeps perfect during the day but when it comes to night time, it's crying and screaming to the point of him nearly vomiting. He has a warm milk bottle, a story read to him and cuddles and kisses from both of us before bed. I've tried the brauer sleep which was perfect, but unfortunately can only use that for a week. My last resort is to take him to a sleep school. I have an appointment with his gp next week to get her opinion, but was hoping to get any other advice! Thanks :)

Maybe try a toddler bed teamed with gradual withdrawal method :)
I not aware of any in Cairns but there is the Ellen Barron clinic in Brisbane. A lot Families travel for thus clinics service. When I was there there was a mum from Lismore.
It's not a sleep school as such, but Nurtured Mother Baby has a lady called Kim who is a Tresillian sleep lady who might be able to help. I haven't used the service but have an appointment next week. She comes to your house for 3 hours initially and you go from there. Just search for the business name in Facebook. Good luck! Hopefully we will both get some sleep!! :)
