Skin care

Hi, just wondering what is a great skin are range (that doesn't cost a fortune) for mature acne prone skin and what routine do you use? Don't want to go to a beauty saloon feel they just want to sell you whatever range they have. Thanks

Sometimes it's good to go see a specialist or a dermalogist. They are expensive but if you only go for 1 appointment I think it can be helpful. They can usually figure out what's causing your acne. Sometimes it's best to get to the root of the problem before you trying to find skin care treatments to manage the effects of the problem. They can usually also tell you what brand of skin care you should use depending on your type of skin. Things that can cause acne is diet, too much fatty or sugary foods or oily foods, too much milk, wearing make up that clogs your pores, stress, hormones, birth control. Some things to look into :) anyway I usually get my acne treatments from the chemist, I use a medicated foam wash for acne prone skin, then I usually use a cleanser or a mud like mask and scrub off. I can't remember exactly what brands I use but just go to your chemist and they are usually around 10 dollars per bottle, I also use benzac on a larger pimple. I find if I wear a mineral powder type make up rather then a liquid foundation it's more breathable.
