Hi sisters
I'm asking for a dear friend of mine. She's recently split with her partner and I'm helping her find a house for and her 1 year old daughter. There's only one thing we are unsure of, she's kiwi and wasn't born in Australia. Does anyone know if she's entitled to single parent payment from centrelink? She works part time but she won't have help when it comes to bub so she will need to go to daycare. Where going to centrelink on Monday, just seeing if anyone has been in a similar situation? Thanks ladies

A friend of mine gets payments and she is from NZ best to talk to centerlink
Pretty sure that people from NZ are only entitled to family assistance, not the parenting payment. Its been a few years since i worked there so could be wrong, but 99% sure thats how it goes.
