Hi I'm after some reassurance I guess my son is 3 has been going to child care for a year 2 days a week while I'm working and has just started 3 year old kinder last week. Each time I drop my son off and leave he dissolves into tears I'm thinking it may be separation anxiety but I thought over time it would get better. I am reassured however that 2 mins after I leave my son is happy, playing and good with the other kids and teachers. Does anyone else experience this ??

Hi. Your not alone, my son is nearly 3 and after year and half of daycare 3 days/wk and happy drop offs has just decided to cry uncontrollably when I leave. Same thing I'm told he's very happy after few mins and starts playing. I'm putting it down to being in older room this year and more exhaustion from it and hoping it'll pass soon as it breaks my heart when I leave :-( good luck!! No real advice just wanted to say your not alone
