Seborrheic dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis

My doctor has said that I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face and theres nothing I can do other then the usual ointments etc. It gets itchy and very red and has gotten infected twice since having it (6 months or so now) which makes it quite sore and having a bright red rash on my face is embarrassing especially when it flares up so I avoid leaving the house. The make up I've always used now makes it worse and I can't cover it.
I also suffer with psoriasis on my scalp and a few small spots on my knees.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on handling both the dermatitis and psoriasis (diet, lotions etc) and of a make up that I may be able to use to cover it up a little when it flares up?
I am preferring something a little more natural IF possible.

TIA :)

I would see a highly qualified naturopath if you can! Many skin conditions come from the gut. My son had terrible eczema and once we cleared up his gut the eczema went (the lotions from the doc were just a temporary bandaid, not a cure).

A naturopath will be able to diagnose properly and find the source of the problem. If you find a good one, you will find yourself going back and getting rid of problems that doctors said can't be treated!! Amazing stuff. My son also had a crack at the bottom of his ear lobe... Doctor gave us a cream, which helped temporarily, but always came back once we stopped. But the naturopath said it was deficiency in zinc which was causing it, and although we were taking zinc it wasn't being absorbed because he needed vit b6! Amazing that sometimes the simple things are missing and the body starts having issues... Good luck!
