SCHOOL DROP OFF!

SCHOOL DROP OFF!

***RANT***

Does anyone else hate school drop off and pick up? The mothers at my sons school look at me like im a leper. So what if I dress comfortably to drop my son off on a freezing cold morning. So what if my hair looks like i just mopped the floor with it. I have 3 year old twins, a disabled husband, a 7 and 11 year old and zero sleep. Please excuse me if I don't have time to put 3 layers of MAC on my face and have the perfect up do. Does NOT make me any less of a person or a bad mother and does NOT mean their children need to beware of mine. Don't judge me because of how I look at 9am in the freaking morning. Just because I don't "look" the part, doesn't mean im not.

I happen to own a big beautiful house. I keep it spotless. I have a nice car. I have an amazing wardrobe. An expensive collection of makeup and handbags.... but I don't feel the need to flaunt it. On the odd occasion I actually get to use it, I happen to look nice. But I have all of this stuff for ME!!! No one else!!!
My children are well fed, well looked after and immaculately dressed and very happy children. I am a damn good mum!!! And if its a pissing contest you want, next time you laugh and whisper about what im wearing for SCHOOL drop off, remember that my sons pants cost twice as much as that nasty cheap knock off bag your carrying around!!!

I am in no way trying to offend anyone by this post. Just trying to make a point. Don't judge me. You don't know me or anything about me. And so what if I didn't have all of the above. I would be happy no matter how I looked and no matter what my financial situation. Money and looks mean nothing if you have the mentality of a teen girl and an ugly heart!!!

My daughter has just started school this year and I can't get over how bitchy some school mums are!! It is a private school but very low fees! The way some of the mums act is so unbelievably immature! I don't buy into it all, I ave met s few nice mums who I like to chat to and am always polite and kind to anyone who talks to me but I am not going to get involved in the pettiness! I honestly don't have time for that like yourself. Sounds like you have enough on your plate without having to concern yourself with what the hell you look like. They are probably very insecure in themselves and the way to make them feel better is to have a bitch! Not on your own I would love to wear pyjamas to drop off if I could!!!

So totally agree! It's so sad when the school mums are bitchier and more judgemental than the kids. It really used to annoy me but then I heard some of the kids talking to my daughter....one asked why I have scars on my face and asked if my daughter still loved me. No hesitation she said of course, my mum is the best! The other kids looked happy with that response and have no issues talking to me, their parents still look down on me and avoid us. So from that moment on I turned it around, I chose to ignore the bitchy make up caked clique mums and only talk to the kids and the other mums that are apparently not good enough. Hopefully I can teach their kids a little acceptance even if their parents can't.

Oh sweetie... I'm a single mum with 3 kids, all at different schools (different ages) AND I'm in the military... I get stared at and whispered about by the mothers AND the kids... Hold that head high, walk in proud, make eye contact and smile at everyone you see... Why? Because you're amazing...

I'm just going to put this out there: maybe the other parents are too busy to notice you? Maybe they don't actually care? And (don't get angry) the "judging" is being done by you as you are the one chucking about some pretty nasty opinions? Did you really hear what they said or just your interpretation?
Just saying that's all.
Quite a bit of what you have written is rather rudely opinionated and maybe the real reason why people don't talk to you.

Oh and just so you know, I don't wear make-up, don't own expensive handbags, and often do the school run in tracky-daks.
