Has anyone refused to have the GTT test during pregnancy? Im really hesitant to give it a second go after vomiting the whole drink up the first time.

See if there's an alternative method. If it's just about the drink (which is foul, I'll give you that, especially on an empty stomach!) perhaps they can have you fast and take an alternative glucose source like lemonade or jelly beans. It can't hurt to ask!
I really wanted to refuse but ended up doing it anyways. I had to lie down the entire time as I almost fainted and vomited, I only lasted 1hr 45mins cuz they were worried that was going to throw up so they ceased the test but said it was stil long enough. It was my 4th pregnancy and I never had to do it with the others, I did the old 1hr non fasting test with my other pregnancies. Apparently diabeaties aust now require the GTT as the former test was coming back negative when they were actually positive for GD.
I told a friend of mine this and she ended up refusing (got the ok by her OB), she had bad nausea thru her early pregnancy and couldn't even go a whole night without eating something little to combat it. So with her doctors blessing she was able to skip it, it was her 3rd pregnancy and she had no risk factors of GD, she wasn't overweight, it wasn't in the family etc.
I didn't mind the drink it was the feeling faint after getting the blood taken and not being able to eat anything.
I projectile vomited everywhere about 5 mins after drinking it. I flat out refused to do it again. They didnt say much. They just monitored babies size etc
I had to have the test 4 times and felt sick each and every time but if I had have it another 10 times for the health and wellbeing of my child and myself so be it!
Vomiting once is not a good enough reason to risk your and your child's health!
