Questions for mums who are teachers

I am a stay at home mum to 2 little ones and am about half way through my education degree. Lately I am really struggling with finding the motivation to finish my degree. I hear a lot of mixed reviews of working as a teacher and it really throws me off. For mums who are teachers - did you have trouble finding work? Or trouble finding permanent work? Do you find the job was worth the years of study (and subsequent cost/debt)? Lastly, is it a good job to have while raising children? That is my main motivation for trying to finish instead of just packing it in and getting an entry level job that doesn't require university qualifications.

I only graduated recently and don't regret it at all! Yes permanent jobs are hard but hey, casual work is easy to find, pays great and gives more time at home while kids are young. In hoping I'll make contacts and get a permanent role eventually. I've found it great for raising children and letting me work and I have many teacher friends who love that their career works so well with being a mother. There's a lot of other things I can do with it too. I tutored adults through my pregnancy. Also I think about when my kids are older, I'll be in my 50s still needing to work for 15 years then I will have this to go to. I don't want to be working retail or trying to get an admin job then.
I always say you need to be passionate, it's really one of Thoae careers you need to love it from inside you, but if so and you're just struggling with motivation at the minute, I'd say keep going it'll be worth it :)
