I have court orders for parenting arrangements and unless for religious reasons I can't see a problem. I enrolled my child into a private catholic school and I pay the fees. I guess it may depend on the contact arrangements you have with the father. My child only sees the father during school holidays

Mediation isn't going to change my thoughts. My son isn't catholic so I find there's no reason to send him there. The school I want to send him to is in walking distance. It's the best school around here.

Private schooling is a common subject of family court cases.

You Dont have more rights. But if he objects to the choice of school he has to actually take it to court and pay for the alternative himself.
