Pregnancy on birth control

Okay so I'm just curious to know about when in a pregnancy can the main symptoms kick in like morning sickness etc, as I'm on birth control I haven't had a period in almost 2 years.
I'm not asking about the chances I am and I know that some birth controls can sometimes mimic symptoms and yes I will do a test in a week.

With my first, I was so relieved to have made it through my first trimester without any morning sickness - then at 12w1d it hit me like a waaave! I lost 9kg in 4 weeks. With that pregnancy, the only thing that made me think I was pregnant was the fact that I physically could not stomach more than one glass of alcohol. 3 negative tests over a week, I had another crack at a drink to no avail. A week later it was confirmed. With my second, I was 8 weeks pregnant when I found out and from about 9 weeks onwards my morning sickness began. I lost about 6kg with him. I watched my cousins Caesar and cried and cried and cried. My Aunty and Mum said "What is wrong with you?" Why do you keep crying?" I said "My period is due any day now. Look at my belly" and I looked about 16 weeks pregnant I was so bloated!! The bloating subsided and it turned out that I was 4 weeks pregnant (I didnt know) but I didnt have a noticeable bump with my first until around 17 weeks. I didnt get sore boobs with either until more towards the end, I was very emotional throughout both though. I have been crying at the drop of a hat for the past 3 days now and my period has been and gone. Im hoping im not!

Lol anyway, thats just to show how different my two pregnancies were. Some women experience morning sickness almost immediately after conception, some dont get it at all. Is your period late?

Oh and its definately more common for women to fall pregnant on BC than many realise. My Mum fell pregnant with my brother and I while on the pill, and I was mid Depo shot when I fell pregnant with my first!

No period pretty much since starting birth control so I can't go by that. I've been stupidly emotional and had sore boobs (but not feeling extra firm) peeing more often and on and off nausea. And I know other birth controls can sometimes screw around and give symptoms of pregnancy. But yeah maybe I'm just panicking but I don't feel quite right. And it's not like this is my first, it would be number 4 lol

The not knowing sucks! When you're trying to conceive, every single little twinge, pee, sore boob, bloat etc. is a way of sending your hopes sky high, but when you're not planning it, you cant remember your past symptoms for the life of you! On and off nausea could be an indicator as not everyone vomits, some are just always nauseous. How long are you going to hold off to test?

Holding off til Friday that will be a week and a half of symptoms. So I'll wait and see if I feel better and if the symptoms hang around.

Sweet. Hold off for as long as you can. The longer the better as the line will be more apparent. As I said earlier, I had 3 negative tests before I tested positive, and I was about 4 weeks pregnant! Good luck and please let me know the outcome. I will keep checking this post :)

My morning sickness kicked in 5 and a half weeks and stuck around till she was born at 34 weeks LOL! Boobs were sore from about 4 weeks. Heartburn on and off from 5 weeks also. I have symptoms quite early on :-)
