pregnancy after a loss

I had a miscarriage a few days ago just wondering when is to early to start trying again? I lost my first baby back in 2009 and concieved my son not long after like maybe a week or 2. I never had a D&C back then nor had one this time. am I being selfish wanting to try again straight away?

I don't think your being selfish i don't know whether physically or medically its ok but i don't think it's selfish to try again at all. Good luck to you

I miscarried in mid October and didn't have a d and c or anything either. We had planned to wait for a period or two but it didn't come and I found out in November that I was pregnant again. I think if you feel mentally ready go for it. As I'm sure you know you are apparently extremely fertile in the days after a miscarriage. Some doctors say to wait but I've also heard that's due a lot to being able to date the pregnancy easier too. All the best I hope you have a happy result when you are ready xxx

There's nothing selfish about wanting to give your son a sibling. I'm sorry for your loss but sounds as though you are ready to try again so all the best :)
