Pink spot on pregnancy test

I took a pregnancy test this morning as I am a day late for my period (I am always spot on to the day) and the test came up with a small pink dot in the pregnant line spot. Has anyone experienced this before and what was the result? I will take another test tomorrow but I am just feeling impatient :)
