Hi all IMs out there. I had a c-section 3 months ago and yesterday when picking up my gorgeous little man I felt what seemed like a tear around my scar. I've had no bleeding but it's now really tender and I struggle to hold my son, hurts when I cough, sneeze, sore to touch and when I stretch a certain way brings on pain. I saw my gp and can't get in to have an ultrasound til Thursday but just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or has any advice? I'm a bit scared and hope it's nothing serious or anything that will impair my abilities to care for my son.

There is lots of nerve damage around a c-sec scar. I had mine 3 years ago and can still occasionally get tender. Best to have the ultrasound to be on the safe side and try to rest your belly muscles until you know whats going on.
