Anyone used this method? How did it work out for you?

To quote my doctor, it's a terrible way to try and not be pregnant. there is so much wiggle room for majority of people it doesn't work. If it was a reliable method there wouldn't have been a need to invent a truckload of other contraceptives.
As my sister who is a doctor said (who was tracking to GET pregnant) there is no way in hell that one time they had sex that month should have resulted in a pregnancy!

I use to do this as i wasn't aloud to take the pill for many reasons and my ex refused to wear condoms (that's another story) it worked for a few months to i fell pregnant in february. I would not recommend it at all.

I was asking mostly out of curiosity. I don't think it would be a very good method for anyone who wasn't prepared to have a baby if (when it happened). Just curious how other people viewed it :-)

I have been practicing natural family planning (tracking cycles and how my body works) successfully for about 18months but there is so much risk involved. We would use condoms once I started ovulation. BUT! Have just found out I am 6weeks pregnant and I know it was that couple of days I thought nah it's ok not quiet yet...Also don't recommend unless you are wanting a baby without really trying.

I've used this for 5+ years after my 3rd child and it's worked well. I have an app on my phone I enter cycle info on and track it that way :) mind you I'm very cautious though and use condoms a few days eaither side of ovulation :)
