ovulation after being on birth control for 5 years.

TMI question sorry, I had the implanon for 2.5 years and then went straight onto the pill, then mini pill after the regular one make me sick every morning etc. i've been off any birth control for 4 months and I've been having this light pink THICK sticky mucus like discharge, and there is ALOT of it, at a random time throughout my cycle, though it only appears once a month and for 3/4 days. hadn't ever experienced this before giving birth 5 years ago.. although I didn't allow my cycle to return to normal after birth before going on the implanon.. I've been tested for sti's etc and all clear. so doing a google search it seems to only come up with a ovulation or pregnancy symptom. i'm not pregnant and i'm not trying to get pregnant. but it's at such random times of the month. so i'm wondering if anyone else's ovulation was really irregular and for how long? has anyone had something like this ? or should I go back and see a doctor? *adding some basic info* I'm in my 20's, no weight issues, healthy diet, and it isn't odorous. thanks
