Hello mums
Please help! I have very oily skin with blackheads/pimples on my face & nose.
I have always had oily skin but it has gotten worse since having my last son 1 year ago. I still breastfeed.
I have a good cleansing regime with cleansers, toners etc.
I use oil free products such as bb & primer.
Makes up I have tried are loreal, maybelline, revlon & Estée Lauder.
I also use a powder and finishing veil.
I use blotting papers constantly & within a short period I am oily again.
I am after products, make up etc to stop me looking so oily and shiny..
The dermatologist said I just have oily skin and am lucky because I will age better. Not feeling so lucky!
Thanks

I would suggest to stop using so much product on your face as the more you strip the oil the more you will produce. Your skin will be over producing and stripping the oil all the time will just make it worse.
Yes dont use facial scrubs at all. Use cleansers only. Continue doing what ur doing but stop washing ur face so much. It just makes it worse. It will take but it should slightly settle if u resist washing through out the day. Have very hot showers and when washing ur face wash with very hot water. It should help dry ur skin up. Dont moisture. Focus on ur diet. Certain foods create extra oily skin. Use egg whites to tighten pores. Once finished with cleaning process dip ur facr in a big bowl full of ice and water to smooth skin and tighten pores. Try birth control as some can help with skin, more so pimples. Might sound strange and extreme but could spraying deodorant on ur facr help??
I wouldn't use hot water as it can break capillaries as the skin on the face is fragile so then you could have permanent redness. Personally I use Synergie Minerals make up and have found it to be very good. They also have a skincare range all natural products for various skin conditions, they also have a product called blem-ex which is good for clogged pores. I would definately use a good cleanser but beware as so many products have chemical ingredients, do your research...
I have oily skin too. It was worse when I was younger. What helped me was using no makeup on my face. The less I touched it and put on it, the better it was. Finding a product is also like Russian roulette. I used an oil free wash, toner. No moisturiser. I also made sure my hair was off my face.
