Hi IMs
I'm pregnant with #2. I DO NOT want to breastfeed, With #1 i had awful trouble and do not want to go through it again.
I'm just wondering if i put bubs straight on the bottle does my milk still come in? If so is there anythkng that stops it?
I don't need to hear the breast is best lines.. I'm determined not to breast feed this time round.

Your milk will probably still come in.
I totally support your decision to go to bottle. Just wondering your feelings on a bit of colostrum after birth? Not pressuring, you do what's right.
A happy mum is more important than breast feeding.
Completely your choice to breastfeed or not! Just wanted to share I had a really hard time with number 1 baby but found baby 2 a lot easier maybe cos I was a lot more relaxed and calmer. Just saying you may find it totally different but I am totally for whatever works for Mumma and bubs. When I finIshed feeding gp gave me tablets to help dry up milk so you might want to ask!
You need to do what's best for you and if breastfeeding is a struggle then don't let anyone make u feel guilty about wanting to bottle feed. Your milk will still come in. best go have a chat to your gp about medication you can take to dry up your milk. Best of luck.
I never breast fed and didn't really have any issues with any milk coming in. I grabbed some pads just incase but didn't need them. It was the same for all 3 of my children
I had terrible trouble with my first and with my second I was going to breastfeed at hospital and then bottle feed once at home but my daughter was a natural. My point is never say never:) your milk will prob not come in though if it isn't being stimulated, might just be sore. Good luck either way hun:) need to do what's best for you and your baby!
I found with my second bub my milk didn't really come in. I tried for the first 24hrs but I was so stressed I decided to go straight to bottle. I guess because I tried for a short period it came in a little but not enough to bother me. I'd say it's unlikely it'll come in if there's no demand for it :)
