Needing help with weightloss :,(

I'm desperately trying to losing weight, I have an almost 3 year old son and a 10 month old daughter. Before having kids I thought I was huge at 80kgs, but now I am 110kgs. Gaining this much weight has completely destroyed what little confidence I did have, and it effecting my relationship because I am not even comfortable within myself anymore. I have seen my doctor numerous times, I have seen the dietician and the physio therapist, i have done everything the have told me, yet still nothing seems to be budging this weight. I've been prescribed duromine and have taken one course, and still nothing. I'm at a loss at what else i can do, I've had blood tests done, there is no thyroid issues. Anyone have any advice? I've just started meal replacements for breakfast and lunch and will continue to have a balanced meal for dinner. It's just this is really getting to me, i'm trying my hardest and getting no results.

Exercise. Join a bootcamp. Not a kickass 4am one, one but a social one at a good time so you enjoy going (they still kick your ass though) just trial a few until you find the right group for you. You'll make friends, find others in the same boat as you and work together & that exercise 3 times a week really kickstarts the momemtum in wanting to keep it up & change your lifestyle.

Latest research indicates that resistance exercise is more effective than just cardio to lose weight... Talk to an exercise physiologist about a plan perhaps? Also depending on your job if you have a desk job going for a walk or something similar is probably not going to result in weight loss. You need to be active as much as you can too. Hope this helps!

Exercise, optifast shakes 3 times a day, and keep a diary of every little thing you eat. Wear a pedometer and make sure you do at least 10000 steps a day.
If I don't do those things and be brutally honest with myself about snacks, how I cook food etc I don't loose weight.
I found my portion sizes were out if control and I was eating mindlessly (eating things but not acknowledging it).

Two words - Annette Syms. Google it. Also you don't need to burn yourself out with exercise. Persistent 30 minute exercises a day will make such a difference. Google Annette Syms, you'll see!

Personally I don't think you can beat eating good food and exercising. Throw away the shakes, start counting calories and exercise a few times a week. Not just cardio, strength training too with weights and resistance to help build muscle. Don't focus on the scales, instead measure Cm's lost.

If there is no underlying medical issues there are no reasons other than your self motivation that eating well and exercising won't work.

I follow the Lose Baby Weight & Healthy Mummy plans, they have a challenge that starts next week that I am participating in and there is a facebook support group as well. It is made for Mums and the recipes are great.

Do sone research in to high fat low carb (HFLC). similar to a paleo way of eating. It has changed our lives and many many people that I know. Cut out anything processed and just eat real food. Loads of veges. Also look up wheet belly on FB
