My two year old is out of control. He's always throwing tantrums from the minute he wakes up and as soon as I pick him up from daycare in the afternoon. He hits other kids (older kids and younger babies) he Always hits me or kicks me.
He hasn't always been like this it's only the past 2 months or so but it's been getting worse. He is teething at the moment as well. There's nothing else wrong with him physically or mentally.. He is super attached to his dummy and still has a bottle of cows milk before his nap and at night. I really want to drop the dummy and the bottles but they are the only thing that seems to help. His diet is terrible he won't try new things. Always throws his food. Every time I put effort into his dinner he won't even try it. The only things he will eat are
Yoghurt pouches
Nuggets
Strawberries
Bananas
Cheese sticks
Biscuits
This is how I'm handling it at the moment...
When he has a tantrum I mostly just ignore him or try to talk to him calmly and try to figure out what it is that he wants.. I'm guessing the tantrums are from him feeling frustrated as he doesn't talk much. If he does something like throw food or hits me. I give him a warning and say do u want to go to sleep?... If he does it again then I put him in his cot for 5-10mins.. He usually screams like anything.. This seems to work some of the time but mostly he's back to being a turd within 10 mins
I can't help but feel like a failure.. My favourite part of the day is his bed time. Any tips would be muchly appreciated

Has he been seen by a paediatrician?? A lot of what you described could be nothing and the terrible two's or could be something so although you said nothing is going on mentally that can be really hard to tell without assessments etc.
My only other thought is when you give him Panadol or similar is his behaviour better. I know I'm a grumpy shit when I'm in pain.
